The International Food & Drink Event (IFE) is the UK’s largest food and drink trade fair, which latest edition took place in London from March 25 to 27, 2024.
The National Support Centre for Agriculture [Krajowy Ośrodek Wsparcia Rolnictwa or KOWR], in line with the strategy of the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and as part of its activities to promote Polish agri-food products on foreign markets, organized for the third time a Polish national stand at IFE fair under the slogan “Poland Tastes Good”.
Polish companies showcased a wide range of export products at the stand, including meat, sweets, fruits, juices, energy drinks, preserves, honey, alcoholic beverages, and fish.
The Polish stand garnered significant attention, with participating entrepreneurs engaging in numerous discussions with potential business partners.
Newrition, a Polish exhibitor, was honoured at the World Food Innovation Awards for its Feel Fit sugar-free vegan coconut balls with almonds.
Piotr Wilczek, the Polish Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, officially opened the stand.
The UK ranks as the second-largest importer of Polish agri-food products, with exports reaching a record high of EUR 4.2 billion in 2023.
