On 14-16 April 2025, the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) was honoured to host the representatives of the Asian trade sector, who visited Poland to establish the business relationships with the Polish producers of food and beverages.
During the intense b2b sessions held on 14 and 16 April in the Mercure Warszawa Centrum Hotel, 8 importers from Philippines, Malaysia and Uzbekistan made use of their opportunities to establish contacts with more than 50 Polish companies representing a wide range of food products. The Polish operators presented among others: dairy products, meat products, confectionery, fruit and vegetable products, teas, pastas, organic and gluten-free food and prepared dishes. All products attracted the great interest of the potential Asian trade partners.
On 15 April 2025 the Asian guests visited two large production plants in Podlassia: MLEKOVITA Dairy Cooperative and SOKOŁÓW S.A. These visits enabled them direct insight into the state-of-the-art production processes and quality standards, which differentiate the Polish food companies from the international competition.
The mission was organised by the KOWR in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, under the food sector promotion programme – the non-competition project entitled “Internationalisation of SMEs – BRAND HUB” measure 2.26 under the “European Funds for the Modern Economy 2021-2027” (FENG).
