From 10 to 13 February 2026, a new edition of the BIOFACH organic food fair took place at the Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg, where the KOWR, as it has done every year since 2018, organised a national stand.
At the Polish stand, 17 companies from the organic food and beverage sector promoted their range of export products. Visitors to the fair were able to explore a wide range of organic products, such as fresh apples, frozen fruit and vegetables, freeze-dried fruit and vegetable snacks, juices and beverages, gluten-free products, grain products, baking ingredients, honey and herbs.
The national stand also hosted cooking demonstrations organised by the ‘Polish Ecology’ National Association of Processors and Producers of Organic Products.
The BIOFACH trade fair, which has attracted considerable interest from Polish producers, has been held since 1990. It is the world’s largest event bringing together producers of organic food and cosmetics. The fair provides a platform for promoting new products, exchanging experiences and knowledge, networking between exhibitors and visitors, as well as promoting and building the image of eco-friendly products.
This year’s BIOFACH attracted over 2,200 exhibitors and 35,000 visitors. In addition to the national stand organised by the KOWR to promote Polish organic products under the slogan ‘Poland tastes good’ / ‘Polen schmeckt’, certified food and beverages from Poland were showcased by individual exhibitors and the ‘Polish Ecology’ Association.
