On 21 September, we organised prestigious B2B meetings at the headquarters of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Saudi Arabia, which brought together Polish food companies and Saudi business partners. Intense discussions, an exchange of questions and a presentation of the Polish offer took place at a round table – all in a professional yet friendly atmosphere, full of smiles and handshakes. The foreign importers showed great interest in Polish products, and the exchange of experience was extremely fruitful.
At the same time, a meeting was held by the Polish delegation led by Secretary of State Jacek Czerniak, including the Deputy Director General of the NASC. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Saudi Arabia. The participants discussed strategic directions for the development of Polish-Saudi cooperation, exchanged experiences and determined the next steps to support the expansion of Polish companies in the Saudi market.
At 4 p.m., with the start of the fair, there was the official opening of the Polish national stand organised by the National Agricultural Support Centre under the Poland tastes good banner. The event was attended by Secretary of State Jacek Czerniak, Deputy Director General Jan Szopiński, Deputy Chief Veterinarian Paweł Meyer and charge d’affaires of the Polish Embassy in Riyadh Paweł Mączka. Their presence was much more than just participation in a symbolic ceremony – they actively talked to manufacturers and customers, suggested solutions and supported Polish companies in their first contacts with Saudi partners. In this way, the opening of the stand became not only the formal start of the fair but also a real stimulus for further business talks.
The Polish offer at Foodex Saudi from 21-24 September 2025 is being presented by 13 Polish food companies. The offer covers a wide range of products: confectionery, additives such as mayonnaise, juices, ketchups and mustards, healthy food additives, dairy products and snacks – from stuffed peppers to flavoured hummus – as well as honey and freeze-dried products. They have one thing in common: a diverse, authentic and competitive offer that meets the expectations of business partners in the Middle East.
An important highlight of the visit to Riyadh was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Saudi Ministry of Agriculture, represented by Deputy Minister Mansaur Almushaiti. This strategic agreement opens up new opportunities for Polish exporters and shows that Poland regards Saudi Arabia as one of its key and most promising countries for the expansion of Polish exports.
Foodex Saudi 2025 confirms that business and cuisine go hand in hand here. Poland is present, active and ready to seize the opportunities offered by the Middle East market – through both meetings at the stand and strategic discussions behind the scenes.
