Polish national stand at GULFOOD 2026

On 26 January 2026, the next edition of the five-day GULFOOD trade fair began in Dubai. For the first time, the fair is being held in two locations. There will be no shortage of Polish exhibitors at both venues. Some of them are exhibiting together with the KOWR under the banner Poland tastes good. At the national stands, Polish products are displayed in 3 exhibition sections: World Food at Dubai Expo City and Dairy and Beverages at Dubai World Trade Centre.

At the national stands, Polish food is promoted in Dubai by 44 companies (28 companies in the World Food sector, 10 companies in the Dairy sector and 6 companies in the Beverages sector) on a total of 510 m² of exhibition space, at their own separate stands as well as in areas for joint use.

A part of the stand with an area of 60 m2 in the general food sector of World Food was organised as an information and promotion stand of the sectoral promotion programme for the food sector for 2024-2029 (BRAND HUB), implemented by the KOWR in cooperation with the Ministry of Development and Technology. The BRAND Hub zone also hosts culinary demonstrations and tastings prepared by Polish chefs, introducing visitors to the national stand to Polish culinary specialities and the flagship dishes of our cuisine. In addition, 19 companies use the B2B conversation area in the BRAND HUB zone free of charge or have provided promotional material for display.

To potential contractors from the Middle East and other regions of the world, Polish companies present, among other things, fish products, caviare, poultry meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, cooked, pickled and frozen vegetables, breakfast products, hummus, egg powders, protein bars, sweets and snacks, buckwheat and millet products, flours, pasta, gluten-free foods, dairy powders, cheese, cottage cheese, butter and other dairy products, NFC juices, organic juices, lemonades, fruit syrups, coffee, children’s drinks and energy drinks.

The grand opening of the stand on 26 January was attended by Jacek Czerniak – Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Jan Szopiński – Deputy Director General of the KOWR and Grzegorz Gawin – Head of the Mission of the Polish Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

Organised for 31 years, the Dubai trade fair enjoys a well-established reputation among food and beverage exporters and is now one of the three largest food and beverage trade shows in the world. The fair has for years enjoyed unflagging interest from businesses, including Polish ones, interested in both entering the UAE market and establishing promising business contacts with partners from other countries in the Middle East, as well as in Africa and Asia.

The value of Polish agri-food exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2024 was EUR 170 million. Poland exported to the UAE mainly:
