KOWR at the TUTTOFOOD fair in Milan for the second time

The TUTTOFOOD fair, a bi-annual exhibition event in the food and beverage sector in Italy and Southern Europe, commenced on 5 May 2025. It is the second time the KOWR organises the national stand at this fair.

In 2023, the KOWR gathered 8 exhibiting operators. In this-year edition of fair 22 companies will exhibit under the Poland tastes good brand. 2 years ago, the Milan fair was visited by more than 83 thousand visitors and the exhibitors represented 132 countries. The fair attracts a great interest of the Polish operators, which is demonstrated by nearly three times higher number of exhibitors at the KOWR stand compared to the previous edition.

This year, during the four days of fair held in the capital of Lombardy and the business heart of Italy, the Polish food and beverage producers and exporters promote among others the following products: milk and dairy products, frozen fruits and vegetables, lyophilised fruits, chocolates, cookies and other confectionery, coffees and instant cereal drinks, fruit and energy drinks, pastas, gluten-free products, meat products and prepared dishes.

Italy is our fourth largest recipient of the agri-food products in the European Union, following Germany, France and the Netherlands. In 2024, the sales of these products to Italy reached the value of EUR 2.6 billion. The products, which were most frequently imported to the Apennine Peninsula from Poland included: meat, mostly beef (25%), tobacco and tobacco products (17%), fish and fish products (10%), cereal and flour products (6%), dairy products, primarily cheeses and quarks (6%), vegetables and vegetable products, including mushroom products (4%), confectionery (4%) and feed products (4%).

TUTTOFOOD is a powerful platform to present both traditional and new products. The fair provides also the opportunity to familiarise with the latest trends in the food and packaging sectors. Since Italy is the relational country, the TUTTOFOOD organisers do their best to make Milan an important networking space and the place to establish and consolidate business relations during the 4 days of fair.

The Italian food sector is the second most important branch of the Italian industry. Climate diversity, regional individuality, traditions, cultural and historical conditions created a large number of small companies, frequently family ones, which focus on strengthening the uniqueness of their products. We hope that participation in TUTTOFOOD will enable the best food products from Poland finding their place on this market.
