Another edition of the leading international fair for organic food Biofach was held from 14 to 17 February 2023 in Nuremberg, Germany. It is estimated that this year’s edition attracted more than 2,000 exhibitors and more than 20,000 visitors to the fair. The fair was accompanied by numerous conferences, seminars, panel discussions and competitions for the best organic products.
\nThe National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR), within the framework of foreign promotional activities approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, once again organised a Polish national stand. At the national stand, Poland export offer of organic food was promoted by individual companies, as well as companies affiliated with industry organizations such as the Polish Chamber of Organic Food and the National Association of Processors and Producers of Organic Products \u201cPolska Ekologia.\u201d Among the products on display were, fruit and vegetable juices, coffee, honey, teas and herbs, fresh and frozen fruits, as well as vegetables, pasta, flours, groats and other cereal products, gluten-free products, oils, eggs and fish.
\nFurthermore, the Polish stand hosted culinary demonstrations, during which visitors to the fair could taste traditional Polish dishes served by Polish chefs.
