The three-day fair ran until 1 April this year. The KOWR has been organising a national stand at the IFE under the banner \u2018Poland tastes good\u2019 since 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, Polish food and beverage producers and exporters interested in doing business in the UK market showcase a wide range of food products at the ExCeL London exhibition centre. This year, 29 companies are participating, showcasing products such as mushrooms, poultry, pork and beef, as well as products made from them, dairy products, pasta, flours and groats, confectionery (chocolate, pralines, biscuits, ice cream) and snacks, herbs and spices, organic food, ready meals, energy drinks, freeze-dried foods and dietary supplements. Visitors to the fair can sample dishes and snacks typical of the Polish cuisine at the national stand, including \u017curek soup, pierogi dumplings, roast duck, beef roulades, stuffed cabbage rolls, potato cake, doughnuts and cheesecake.<\/p>\n<p>The stand was officially opened on 30 March by Ma\u0142gorzata Gromadzka, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, together with representatives of the National Centre for Agricultural Support and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>The United Kingdom is one of Poland\u2019s most important trading partners. For years, this country has remained in second place (after Germany) as the largest buyer of Polish agri-food exports. The UK market is the most important market for our products among non-EU countries. Agri-food exports to the UK have been growing almost continuously for over a decade, and in each of the last three years they exceeded EUR 4 billion (EUR 4.2 billion in 2023 and END 4.4 billion in both 2024 and 2025).<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the top Polish exports to the UK market were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>red meat and meat products (21%);<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0poultry and poultry products (16%);<\/li>\n<li>confectionery (12%);<\/li>\n<li>cereal and flour products (9%);<\/li>\n<li>vegetables (including mushrooms) and vegetable products (6%);<\/li>\n<li>animal feed (5%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The IFE trade fair in London is the UK\u2019s largest trade event for professionals in the food industry. They attract over 1,500 exhibitors from more than 100 countries and are visited by over 30,000 attendees, around 80% of whom are decision-makers.
