The current year edition of the world\u2019s largest fair of confectionery and snacks \u2013 ISM Cologne \u2013 was launched in Cologne, Germany, on 2 February 2025.\u00a0 This is the fifth time the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) is present at the Koln fair.<\/p>\n
This year, the national stand organised by KOWR under the \u201cPoland tastes good\u201d slogan gathered 28 entrepreneurs presenting a wide offer of confectionery and snacks. The Polish companies promote among others: cookies, gingerbread products, fudges, butterscotches, lollipops, chocolate jellies, chocolates, pralines, chocolate candies, chocolate dipped fruits and nuts, rice wafers, sticks, crisps, chips, lyophilised fruits, dulce de leche, cereals and other breakfast products, flavoured syrups, ice cream powders, puddings, jellies, gluten-free cakes and bread, honey sweets and snacks as well as vegan confectionery products.<\/p>\n
The annual ISM Cologne fair is the most prestigious exhibition event in the confectionery and snack sector, attracting numerous exhibitors and visitors from Germany, Europe and other continents. According to the fair\u2019s organiser, the 2024 edition gathered 1,427 exhibitors and recorded approx. 30,000 visitors. Similar numbers of exhibitors and visitors are expected in 2025.<\/p>\n
The Cologne fair attracts primarily the representatives of industrial associations, supermarkets and retail chains, confectionery stores, cafes, bakeries, shops, e-food stores, importers and distributors. ISM Cologne is first of all the place to promote one\u2019s products dedicated to the manufacturers of: chocolates and chocolate products, sugar confectioneries, cakes, snacks, sweets with natural sugar content, breakfast products, ice cream, innovative sweets and snacks.<\/p>\n
ISM Cologne belongs to the most popular foreign fairs offered by KOWR. The interest in this fair among the Polish companies continues to grow year by year. For comparison, in 2024 KOWR\u2019s national stand at ISM Cologne hosted 16 entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n
